Terms of sale

These terms apply to anything bought through this website from the Friends of Little Downsend (the school's parent-teacher association).

What you are buying

Everything in the shop is secondhand, donated by families. We describe each item honestly, including its condition and any marks we have noticed, and photograph the actual item. Sizes are as labelled on the garment.

Paying

Payment is taken in full at checkout by Stripe. Items in your basket are held for 30 minutes while you pay; if you do not complete payment in that time they go back on sale. An order is confirmed only when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email.

Collecting

Nothing is posted. Collect from the place and times shown on your confirmation email, within 14 days of your order. Show the email or give your order reference. If you cannot collect within 14 days, email us and we will find a way; orders left uncollected for a long time may be refunded and the items put back on sale.

Refunds

Because items are secondhand and sold at a fraction of their new price, sales are final unless an item is faulty or not as described. If that happens, email us within 7 days of collecting and we will refund you in full to the card you paid with.

Donations

Donations are gifts to the PTA and are not refundable, except where a mistake was made (for example the wrong amount was entered), in which case email us straight away.
